The Pacific Events Centre located in the town of Yumbo, Valle del Cauca, we gathered on September 11, 2008, nearly a thousand entrepreneurs from different parts of the country to advance in the productive transformation of Colombia, the meeting was attended, among others, the Governor of Valle, the chairman of Cali Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Luis Guillermo Plata Paez, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and Dr. Dario Montoya Director General of the Seine who spoke accurately about the actual experiences for innovation and entrepreneurship. The meeting ended with the presentation and launch of the national network of venture which we hope will contribute in strengthening communication links between the different actors of entrepreneurship and translated into a stimulus for business ideas, achieving sources of financing and advisory and monitoring companies.
